What Is Spiritual Confusion

There will be times in your spiritual life when you are perplexed, and the solution isn't just to declare that you shouldn't be perplexed. It's not a question of right and evil, but of God leading you down a path you don't understand right now. And it is only through spiritual uncertainty that you will be able to comprehend what God desires for you.

His Friendship Has Been Shrouded (see Luke 11:5-8). Here, Jesus used the example of a man who appears to be unconcerned about his friend. That is how the heavenly Father will appear to you at times, he was saying. You'll believe He's a cruel friend, but that's not the case. Everything will be explained when the time comes. There appears to be a cloud above heartfelt friendship, and love itself must frequently wait in anguish and sorrow for the blessing of greater fellowship and oneness. Will you cling to God even though He appears to be fully covered in darkness?

His Fatherhood Casts a Long Shadow (see Luke 11:11-13). According to Jesus, there will be times when your Father appears to be an unnatural father—callous and indifferent—but remember, He is not. “Everyone who begs is granted…” (Luke 11:10, NIV) If all you see right now is a shadow on the Father's face, remember that He will eventually give you a clear insight and fully vindicate Himself in everything He has allowed into your life.

His Faithfulness's Strangeness (see Luke 18:1-8). “Will the Son of Man find true faith on the world when He comes?” (Luke 18:8, NIV) Will he be able to find the kind of trust that relies on Him in the face of adversity? Hold on to your faith, trusting that what Jesus said is true, even if you don't comprehend what God is doing right now. He's got bigger matters on his mind than the things you're asking of Him right now.

What is the confusion between religion and spirituality?

Although it can be difficult to distinguish between spirituality and religion, there are some clear distinctions between the two. Religion is a collection of organized ideas and behaviors that are usually shared by a community or group of people. Spirituality is more of an individual discipline that involves feeling at ease and having a sense of purpose.

What is toxic spirituality?

The solution is far more straightforward than you might think. You are practicing toxic spirituality if you believe that you must always be positive and that anything negative is wrong.

What makes this notion so dangerous is that it prevents us from learning and growing by suppressing positive emotions.

Each of our feelings has information. This information is neither good nor bad; it is simply that.

Emotions Inform Us

When you have anxiety, for example, you are not a bad person or doing something wrong. Anxiety is trying to tell you something.

It could be a sign that you need to leave the house a few minutes earlier than usual since you dislike traffic. You escape traffic and, as a result, are less likely to develop road rage if you leave the house a few minutes early.

And no amount of meditation or prayer will alleviate the stress. It will almost certainly stay until you have learned the lesson and have left a few minutes early.

When you ignore or fail to gain information from your emotions because you've suppressed them for the sake of being “positive,” you'll either be stuck in your current circumstance or, worse, start self-medicating.

This belief that you must be positive at all times is harmful to your spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

What are the 3 elements of spirituality?

In their eternal wisdom, all shamans, healers, sages, and wisdom keepers of all centuries, continents, and peoples claim that human spirituality is made up of three aspects: connections, values, and life purpose. These three components are so strongly linked that it may be difficult to tell them apart. Take a minute to ponder on each facet of human spirituality to determine the state of your spiritual well-being if this is possible. This will be a three-part monthly series, starting with relationships.

Internal (your domestic policy)—how you deal with yourself, how you nurture the relationship with yourself and your higher self—and external (your foreign policy)—how you relate, support, and interact with those people (and all living entities) in your environment—are the two categories of relationships.

What criteria would you use to assess your internal relationship, and what steps could you take to improve it?

How would you assess your external relationships, shifting from the perspective of domestic policy to international policy?

How does a spiritual person behave?

Being spiritual entails prioritizing self- and other-love as a top priority. Spiritual individuals are concerned about people, animals, and the environment. A spiritual person recognizes that we are all One and makes conscious efforts to honor that unity. A spiritual person is kind.
