“The things that come from the Spirit of God are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerning, therefore the man without the Spirit rejects them. The spiritual man makes judgements about everything, but he is not subject to anybody else's: “For who has known the thoughts of the Lord to guide him?” Revelation 2:14-16

Being a spiritual woman necessitates listening. The only way to hear God's voice communicating to our hearts and brains is to stay quiet. According to the Bible, God created us in His image, which means we can be spiritual and approach Him. This is something he has invited us to do. God has asked us to get closer to Him by reading His Word, listening to His little voice, and communicating with Him via prayer. Many ladies have experienced His closeness in the past because they did just that—read and prayed. We will know what direction to pursue in our lives and will have compassion for everyone around us if we accomplish this. Being spiritual is exactly how God intended us to be. Things of the spirit are “discerned spiritually” (1 Corinthians 2:14). The recommendations in this lesson will assist us in better understanding this topic.

NINE CHARACTERISTICS OF A GODLY WOMAN

S – Consciousness of the eternal. A spiritual woman will have her priorities straight, knowing that only what she has done for Christ will be remembered. Amy Carmichael rebuffed her mother's attempts to buy her an evening gown after an incident in which God spoke to her soul clearly. “She said,” she said “In the face of eternity, what good are parties and fancy clothes?” We might think to ourselves, “How important are some of the things on which I spend my time and money in the light of eternity?”

P – It is critical to pray. A spiritual woman's life revolves around prayer. God is real to her, someone who cares about all of her problems. Before attending a prayer class, Becky Tirabassi claims she didn't have much time for God. The speaker at one of the sessions emphasized, “Not praying is a sin.” Becky was taken aback and realized how little time she had for God, despite the fact that she claimed to adore Him. She devised a strategy before the seminar that allows her to easily complete an hour of prayer, Bible study, and meditation every morning. We could inquire, “What aspects of my life can be streamlined or eliminated so that I can spend an hour each day with my Lord?”

Please forgive me for my lack of prayer. Please assist me in making time for You.

I – I'm completely immersed in the Bible. Bible study isn't a dreaded task for the spiritual lady; it's something she eagerly anticipates. She considers, “Will God have a message for me today?” Becky Tirabassi reads a chapter from each of the Old and New Testaments, as well as a chapter from Proverbs. Ione Richardson makes a verse of Scripture her own by paraphrasing it. Ruth Bell Graham sits at her table with her Bible open. She memorizes lyrics and repeats them while working and driving.

Thank you for your Word, Lord. Help me schedule a time each day when I can completely immerse myself in it.

R – Appreciates the value of silence. The instruction is obeyed by godly women “Be quiet and know that I am God,” says the Lord. They spend time not only studying and praying, but also listening to God's voice. After Bible study and prayer, Amy Carmichael had a habit of sitting in silence for lengthy periods of time. She and others have found inspiration in times of solitude and calm, prompting them to perform great things for God and humanity.

I want to be a lady who takes the time to hear Your voice, Lord. Assist me in learning to appreciate solitude in the middle of my hectic routine.

I – Invites Jesus to walk alongside her in all of life's circumstances. The Lord is with her in both the difficult and easy moments. Ruth Bell Graham discusses her life as a married yet lonely mother of five children. She admits to crying over her Bible in an attempt to relieve her loneliness and find solutions to her grief at her boys' rejection of the Lord. The possibility “Don't be concerned…” became a priceless phrase to her (Philippians 4:6).

Please forgive me for being concerned. Take the fear and concern from my heart, and make my prayers one of thanksgiving.

T – Has a natural ability to talk about the Lord and His goodness. The spiritual woman is unafraid to offer a testimony at church or to pray for God's blessing on her food in a restaurant. Talking about Jesus comes as naturally to her as talking about her children or a close friend.

Lord, help me to be like those brave ladies who bravely spoke out about you, to be so enthralled by the reality of my encounter with You that I feel compelled to share it.

U – Recognizes God's call. God's call to serve has long been understood by great women of faith. They've realized their significance in the grand scheme of things, their role in God's plan to save humanity.

Many women have felt compelled by God to bless others, serve as missionaries, care for the ill, preach the gospel, or engage in some other specific ministry. When this happens, they have no choice but to move forward. Consider some of the women you know who fall into this group.

Lord, teach me to recognize when You call me to participate in a specific aspect of Your plan and to be willing to follow Your lead.

A – Recognizing God's Presence. God's presence in the spiritual woman's life is palpable. She is aware of what He is doing in her family's lives, her church, and the world's political structures. She can perceive God's hand at work in the interplay of human events. Ruth Bell Graham may have gotten despondent about her sons, but she clung to her faith in God, knowing that He was at work in their lives. “She says,” she says “Our children will never be able to reach beyond God's reach.”

Lord, please open my eyes so that I can see Your hand in my life today. Help me to remember that, no matter how circumstances appear, You are in charge.

L – Has a soft spot for people. A woman who is near to God is compelled to love everyone for whom He died, even the most unlovable. Amy Carmichael has a thing for prostitutes. Mother Teresa had a soft spot for social outcasts, the poor, and the dying. Mary Jo Copeland saw the homeless with pity. Chessie Harris was a foster mother who took in over 800 children who had been abandoned.

Lord, make me a woman who is moved by compassion for others' needs and eager to reach out to them with Your love.

What does spiritual girl mean?

1. Everything has importance for her. She believes in the universe's signs. She believes you were sent into her life for a reason. That you'll gift her something priceless, whether it's a collection of memories, a life lesson, or a lasting piece of your heart.

2. She is genuine. She doesn't understand why she should pretend to be someone she isn't. She is aware of her imperfections, yet this hasn't stopped her from loving and being herself. What you see is what you get with her.

3. She is bursting at the seams with affection. She is devoted to her family. Her acquaintances. Pets. Plants. The moon, the sky, and the universe. She sees beauty in everything she sees, which is why she has such a big heart.

4. She is always expanding. She recognizes that it is possible to love yourself while also admitting that she has areas in which she needs to develop. She isn't perfect, but she strives to be the best she can be.

5. She is fearless in the face of the unknown. Most people are afraid of things they can't see or understand, but she isn't like that. She recognizes that there is more to life than what meets the eye. That there are mysteries to be discovered. It does not frighten her. It gives her more power.

6. She is a firm believer. Regardless of how many difficulties she is forced to confront, she remains optimistic that things will improve. Because she knows the cosmos is on her side, her strength never wavers. That it will eventually bring her happiness if she continues to perform her bit.

7. She is unconcerned about material possessions. She would love to be greeted with flowers at her front door, but she understands that flowers wilt. She'd much rather make a lasting memory than receive a one-time present. For her, forever is more important than today.

8. She has a deep sense of belonging to others. She can't go by a homeless shelter or see a stray kitten without her heartstrings being pulled. She considers it her responsibility to assist her fellow humans (and animals). That is why she is so gracious. So sympathetic.

9. She is one with the natural world. She may spend hours gazing at the stars, reading a book against a tree trunk, and running through the grass in her bare feet. In nature, she feels safe. It has nourished me.

10. She wishes to live in peace. She isn't interested in drama. She doesn't want buddies who can't be counted on. And she isn't interested in having a boyfriend unless she can trust him. She's all about candor and honesty.

11. She genuinely enjoys life. She isn't like the rest of us, who see the world as a dark place full of hypocrisy and hatred. She prefers to see the bright side of things. To concentrate on the love that exists at the core of humanity. The beauty that exists within each person's spirit.

What is a spiritual person in the Bible?

We can deduce from this that to be a spiritual person means to be a person who lives and walks, that is, acts and does things, in accordance with the Spirit in our spirit. We could talk and ponder about God, but our dead spirit couldn't do anything. Order a free study Bible to assist you in comprehending God's Word.

What is a spiritual lifestyle?

Spirituality is a vast topic with many different interpretations. In general, it entails a sense of belonging to something larger than oneself, as well as a quest for purpose in life. As a result, it is a universal human experience that affects all of us. A spiritual experience might be described as sacred, sublime, or simply as a strong sense of aliveness and connectivity.

Some people may discover that their spiritual lives are intertwined with their affiliation with a church, temple, mosque, or synagogue. Others may turn to prayer or a personal relationship with God or a higher force for comfort. Others look for significance in their relationships with nature or art. Your unique concept of spirituality, like your sense of purpose, may evolve through time as you adjust to new experiences and relationships.

What is a spiritual love?

  • Spiritual love is a type of love that is based on a spiritual connection and helps us find meaning and purpose in life.
  • Spiritual loves can have a variety of purposes: some are supposed to accompany us on our journey through life, while others are meant to teach us lessons.
  • Their purpose may not be immediately apparent; yet, our spirituality can benefit us in better understanding our relationships.
  • In reality, whether or not we set out time for spiritual practices, our spirituality has a significant impact on all of our interactions.
  • Spirituality, in the end, connects us to something greater than ourselves, and our spiritual connection either strengthens or weakens our connections with others.

How do you know if you are a spiritual person?

Speaking ill of others or spreading gossip about them provides no comfort or security to a spiritual person. A healthy mind is one that does not speak evil of others. Spiritual individuals keep their heads down and concentrate on their own journey, embracing others for who they are. They do not pass judgment or criticism on other people's life experiences. When spiritual people don't have anything good to say about others, they don't say anything at all. They halt bad conversations by either refusing to engage or retrieving.

How does a spiritual person behave?

Being spiritual entails prioritizing self- and other-love as a top priority. Spiritual individuals are concerned about people, animals, and the environment. A spiritual person recognizes that we are all One and makes conscious efforts to honor that unity. A spiritual person is kind.

What are the 3 elements of spirituality?

In their eternal wisdom, all shamans, healers, sages, and wisdom keepers of all centuries, continents, and peoples claim that human spirituality is made up of three aspects: connections, values, and life purpose. These three components are so strongly linked that it may be difficult to tell them apart. Take a minute to ponder on each facet of human spirituality to determine the state of your spiritual well-being if this is possible. This will be a three-part monthly series, starting with relationships.

Internal (your domestic policy)—how you deal with yourself, how you nurture the relationship with yourself and your higher self—and external (your foreign policy)—how you relate, support, and interact with those people (and all living entities) in your environment—are the two categories of relationships.

What criteria would you use to assess your internal relationship, and what steps could you take to improve it?

How would you assess your external relationships, shifting from the perspective of domestic policy to international policy?

How do you live a spiritual person?

When trying to put all eight aspects of wellness together, the spiritual aspect of wellness can be the most individualized piece of the puzzle. People, on the whole, like to live lives that have meaning and purpose. When these objectives are attained, it brings peace into one's life and the lives of those around them.

So, what are some things you may do to increase your spiritual well-being? It's best to experiment with several ways to see what works best for you. Spiritual wellbeing can be reached in a variety of ways, both physically and intellectually, because it involves one's values, beliefs, and purpose.

1. Examine your spiritual foundation. You are merely asking yourself questions about who you are and what you mean when you explore your spiritual essence. Consider the following question: “Who am I?” What is the point of my existence? What am I most passionate about? These questions will lead you down a path where you will think more deeply about yourself and recognize aspects of yourself that will assist you in achieving fulfillment.

2. Search for hidden meanings. Looking for deeper meanings and examining patterns in your life will help you realize that you have power over your future. Knowing this can help you live a happier and healthier life.

3. Get it off your chest. It will be easier to retain a concentrated mind if you express what is on your mind. You may feel befuddled and unable to make sense of your feelings after a long day or an important event. You may be able to think more clearly and move forward if you write down your thoughts.

4. Give yoga a shot. Yoga is a physical discipline that can help you achieve spiritual wellness by eliminating mental and physical stress. Yoga is taught at all levels and can help relieve anxiety, sadness, weariness, and sleeplessness as well as reducing stress, strengthen the immune system, and lower blood pressure.

5. Take a trip. Yes, it is correct! Taking time for yourself to travel to a familiar location or to a new location can do wonders for your mental health. You will have a greater connection with yourself when your mind is able to block out distractions and assist you in reflecting and resting. This allows you to eliminate stressors and retrain your mind to focus on total wellness. Exercising, visiting with a counselor or advisor, meditation, or taking a temporary vow of silence are all activities that can be done while on a trip.

6. Keep an optimistic attitude. You will find yourself thinking differently and shifting your mind to a happy, healthy place once you begin to view things in your life in a good light. You'll discover that you're more comfortable when you eliminate negativity and re-frame how you think about specific things and situations.

7. Set aside some time to meditate. While managing your time and everyday tasks can be difficult, it is critical to make time for yourself. Take five to ten minutes each day to meditate, whether it's first thing in the morning, during your lunch break, or right before bedtime. By incorporating meditation and relaxation into your daily routine, you will be able to clear your mind and strengthen your connection to your spiritual well-being.
