Jesus appeared to His closest friends and followers after He was risen from the dead. They were terrified and perplexed. They were unsure what would happen to them because they felt encircled by foes, especially Jewish authorities. But Jesus was aware of this, as well as the spiritual struggles that lie ahead.

When He met with them, He commissioned them to go out into the world and make Him known – the same job Christians are encouraged to do today, and one of the reasons Satan is so determined to wage war on Christians.

Jesus desired calm and clarity for His followers in their spiritual fights. So He assured them that His Holy Spirit, their greatest source of strength, would now reside within them: “‘Peace be with you!' I am sending you as the Father has sent Me.' “And He breathed on them, saying, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.'” (NIV, John 20:21-22)

God is, after all, someone who is absolutely independent and distinct from humanity. However, Jesus took on our humanity and went through the same trials and tribulations that we undergo. He gave us the best gift He could as He prepared to return to His Father in heaven. He gave each of us the opportunity to encounter His Holy Spirit, who lives within us.

What is warfare prayer?

The finest techniques for combating spiritual warfare are battle scriptures and prayers. Nothing can compare to the force of God's word and the ability to invoke Jesus' authority via prayer. The most effective strategy to combat spiritual warfare is to use God's word and pray.

Warfare prayer acknowledges the spiritual battle raging around you and prays for victory over the enemy through the power of Jesus Christ.

Whether you are conscious of it or not, spiritual warfare is all around you. Keep in mind what the Bible says about the adversary. There is a real adversary of God who will stop at nothing to prevent you from growing in your faith and being closer to Him. The objective of the thief, according to John 10:10, is to steal, murder, and destroy.

When you understand the enemy's goal against you, you may fully appreciate the value of warfare prayers and scriptures. Warfare prayer points and verses are in handy in this situation.

How do you pray against the enemy?

I command the storm of destruction to gather upon every satanic power that is against my health IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS! I decree and declare great casualty upon witches and wizards operating in my neighborhood, the judgment of God shall torment the powers of darkness working against me both at night and in the morning, the night shall carry terror and anger against all satanic powers that are standing against me, the night shall carry terror and anger against all satanic powers that

RIGHT NOW, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, my prayers have become earthquakes and storms in the devil's camp that is against my life; the Lord shall gather his armor against powers that are against my intellectual growth; all sickness in my life, known or unknown, receives heavenly storm; all conspiracy against any part of my body receives destruction now!

I order the deep wells inside me to be freed and broken forth in the name of JESUS!

What are the 9 spiritual gifts?

A spiritual gift or charism (plural: charisms or charismata; in Greek singular: charisma, plural: charismata) is an idea in which the Holy Spirit bestows remarkable power. Followers think that these are supernatural graces that individual Christians require (and that were required in the days of the Apostles) in order to fulfill the Church's mission. In the strictest sense, it is a theological word for the special graces bestowed on individual Christians for the benefit of others, as opposed to personal sanctification graces such as the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

The word of knowledge, enhanced faith, healing gifts, miraculous gifts, prophecy, spirit discernment, various kinds of tongues, and tongue interpretation are examples of these skills, which are often referred to as “charismatic gifts.” The gifts of apostles, prophets, teachers, aids (associated with service to the destitute and sick), and governments (or leadership abilities) are also associated with various Church ministries. Individuals are given these gifts by the Holy Spirit, but their mission is to build up the entire Church. They're mentioned in the New Testament, namely in 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, and Ephesians 4. Spiritual gifts are also mentioned in 1 Peter 4.

The gifts are tied to both “natural” and “miraculous” abilities, both of which are empowered by the Holy Spirit. The two primary theological viewpoints on their nature are that they have long since ceased or that they continue (Cessationism versus Continuationism).
