It may sound cliched, but tapping into your subconscious is one of the most effective ways to access your psychic abilities. We are continually establishing boundaries in our daily lives to restrict the amount of stimuli we consume and with good cause. We just cannot absorb all we come across in order to live healthy, effective lives. As a result, these events are frequently preserved in our psyche.

Dreams are an excellent way to enter this realm since they represent an alternate reality to our waking existence. We can effortlessly wander across regions, explore other lands, journeying to bygone ages, and encountering otherworldly spirits, free of physical limits. Dreams are a portal, and the more we learn about this subconscious realm, the easier it is to access the entire range of our psychic abilities. Always keep a pen and paper near your bed: As you get more familiar with your subconscious, you'll notice how fluid the worlds are.
How do you unlock your spirituality?
I was raised in a secular environment, and it wasn't until I was in my early twenties, when I began working as a hospice nurse, that I began to rethink my beliefs. Observing my dying patients interact with their family caused me to reflect about life from a new perspective, asking questions such as, “If the body is simply a shell, what happens to that spark of life after we die?” What happens to that energy? What ties us all together?
I began to have a strong urge to connect with something bigger than myself. But I felt lostas if I didn't know how to express what I was looking for. In my pursuit for what I now know as a spiritual practice, I was bashful and clumsy. It took me a long time to compile a list of truths, observations, and touchstones that consistently guided me back to serenity and inspired me to live with an open heart. Here are eight easy actions that have helped me develop my own spiritual practice over time. I'm hoping they'll be able to do the same for you.
Daily, morning meditation
Start your day off well by meditating. Meditation can help you calm down your thoughts over time if you practice it. And as your racing thoughts calm down, your intuition becomes more evident.
Take altruistic action within the community
Kindness and compassion are two ways to increase spiritual energy. And there's no better way to do it than by assisting people in your neighborhood. Building a community might also aid in the search for your tribe. It's not easy to cultivate your spiritual side on your own! Making genuine connections with others is beneficial to your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Get a daily dose of nature
Spending time in outdoors promotes holistic balance and personal development. Being in nature can help you relax, feel more energized, and connect with a power greater than yourself. Nature is awe-inspiring in its vastness, strength, and beauty. You, on the other hand, are not separate from it. You are a part of nature, just as nature is a part of you, as the world's rivers and air flow through your body. So, take a time to see how connected you are.
Surround yourself in music
Because music impacts your ideas, emotions, subconscious, and physical well-being, it may speak to you and heal you in ways that no one else can. Music can assist you in connecting with your spirituality by allowing you to connect with your essence and reach the deepest part of your soul. Listening to music that moves you, taking a sound bath, or chanting can all help you connect with your spirituality.
Listen to your gut
What is your heart's true message? What are your true feelings? And what truly resonates with you may go against your spiritual “rules.” Don't be scared to pay attention to that inner voice and even start acting in ways that support it. Allow yourself the opportunity to try new things and find your own path.
Support your mind and body
Your mind, body, and soul are all intertwined. Taking care of your spiritual side also entails taking care of your mind and body. Drumming, dancing, singing, or athletics are all ways to express oneself with your body. Follow your curiosity to feed your mind; reading, writing, and creating are all excellent ways to allow your mind to freely express itself.
Appreciate what you have
Having thankfulness and appreciation for what you have, the people in your life, and the achievements you have made. Appreciation is not simply a trait that is internal, such as being pleased with what you have rather than continually looking for the next big thing, but it is also a quality that is external. A simple grin or hello to your neighbors expresses gratitude and concern for others. Small actions add up when multiplied by a large number of people!
Accept others
Each of us is a one-of-a-kind individual. And we're all on our own trip. It's nearly difficult to determine what influences the priorities, behaviors, and words of others. You may either evaluate someone based on your own ideals and preconceptions, or you can allow them to be themselves. This does not imply that you agree with everything someone says or that you avoid being a guiding voice when necessary. It's about not being abrasive, harsh, or judgmental.
How do I get in touch with my spiritual self?
What options do I have now?
- Consider meditating. Check to see whether a regular class is offered in your area, or download the Smiling Mind app for a guided meditation.
How do you discover your power?
Positive affirmations should be used instead of negative self-talk. Allowing negative self-talk to dominate your thoughts will sabotage you more than anything else. Negative self-talk paralyzes you, preventing you from taking action, sharing your views and ideas, and taking chances and pursuing new opportunities. These thoughts will deplete your fuel tank, and if you're out of petrol, you're out of options.
Pay attention to the negative voices in your head and label them as such. Self-awareness is the first step in taking control of your life. Allowing these limiting beliefs to dictate your life and achievement is a mistake. Remove the negative thoughts from your mind, rephrase them, and replace them with positive affirmations.
How do you connect with energy?
When it comes to connecting to source energy, we frequently make mistakes that prevent us from doing so. So I'm going to go through three frequent blunders (that I've made myself!) and how to avoid them so you may connect to the powerful source energy you desire.
#1 Make Space for Source Energy (Your Mind Is Too Full)
I was a blazing mess when I initially got into spirituality and the woo. As a Type A workaholic, I was accustomed to using effort and force to achieve my goals. I was always on the move. Always considering what to work on next.
It was so crowded, in fact, that there was little room for a link to the source of energy. A relaxed and open condition is required to connect to source energy.
I finally started connecting to that lovely source energy when I finally started making space in my day and thinking. It didn't all happen at the same time. However, the more room I created, the more it became conceivable.
allow your thoughts to rest (by doing nothing…except maybe walking)
As someone with a Type A personality, I completely understand when you say, “I don't have time to meditate!” You won't be able to connect to source energy if you don't have time to meditate. I know because I've tried it.
#2 Look for the Signs (Stop Ignoring Them)
It's difficult to recognize times of source energy connection when you're always running around.
One clue that you're connected, for example, is that you start seeing angel numbers. So, what's this? 11:11 occurs twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. But how many of us actually look at the clock to see this? When I'm connected, I only observe angel numbers on other people's clocks.
- Try “Walking Mindfulness”: notice what's going on around you with a joyful and curious mood take in the beauty of nature, for example.
So this isn't about keeping an eye on the clock till it strikes 11:11 a.m. However, if you simply glance around and notice what's going on, you might be astonished to see great things!
#3 Raise Your Vibe (You're Not Aligned Enough)
You won't be an energetic fit for source energy if you're in a low vibe state. Source energy has an extremely high vibration and frequency.
I work one-on-one with my customers to assist them improve their vibration and enter a higher vibrational state. Negative thinking, dwelling on the negative, complaining, and other factors all contribute to negative feelings.
And, while horrible things do happen to us, you can still practice good vibe practices to boost your vibe and, indeed, connect to source energy, even in difficult circumstances.
And when you elevate your vibration, you'll reap a slew of additional benefits!
How can I connect to my soul?
Do you realize you have remarkable abilities that come from your creative, intuitive, and spiritual nature? Your mind is as beautiful as a lush forest, rich with neuro-networks that connect beneath the surface, much like the roots of trees. When storm clouds form ahead of rain, scientists have seen increased chemical exchanges between these tree roots.
Our unconscious minds do the same thing, especially during times of stress, when the ego is imbued with dread, storylines and scripts from the past, which arise without warning, obscure our minds. Other woodland routes lead to charred and dead trees, while others go to tranquil meadows and stunning waterfalls. We can't see what's beneath the surface of our thinking, just as we can't see what's beneath the surface of trees and plants reaching for the sun.
This is a method for returning to one's roots and reconnecting with one's soul. To engage in this form of mindfulness, all you have to do is agree that you are not your thoughts.
Living Artfully in Five Steps
Begin by becoming a loving observer of oneself. Recognize that sensations and thoughts are neither “true” nor “false.” Allow the need to be right to fade away, and instead focus on the underlying emotions, such as fear or grief. Accept that you will be thinking and feeling a lot of different things at the same time.
Interference and commentary about your thoughts, pulling up old scars and scripts from the past, deceives you into merging with your ideas, leaving you befuddled. In other words, your thoughts had been “conned” into becoming “fused”! To avoid being “conned,” it's a good idea to “diss” (dis-identify) your thoughts.
When you've discovered your inner voice, how will you know? You'll figure it out. When you connect with your higher wisdom, it feels extremely different inside of you. And don't be surprised if you have spontaneous feelings of forgiveness or compassion when your soul offers you the direction you need.

How do you recognize a spiritual person?
The first evidence of a spiritual person is their lack of fear. When you have a fear or a chronic worry, that fear takes over your life and you are unable to be in the present moment. Fear of public speaking, fear of heights, and fear of bugs are the three most common fears among Americans. Many people, however, are terrified of death, rejection, loneliness, failure, illness, or making poor judgments. Spiritual people understand how to yield to forces beyond their control. In this way, they are similar to children in that they know how to ignore their minds and live fearlessly.
