We haven't always realized that God has revealed His word to us in order for us to learn and comprehend it. He has opened up the Scriptures through the Holy Spirit so that we might see what His plan is. I believe God has opened the Scriptures so clearly because He wants us to act on what we've learned. Why would God be so complimentary of us? It's because it's always been His intention! God incorporated us in Christ before the world was created, according to Paul (Ephesians 1:4). This Truth should be taken and walked in. Because God incorporated you and me in Christ before the world was created, neither Adam nor the devil were or are an issue for Him. When God says something, it isn't meant to be taken literally “It's “as good as” done; it's finished!
These realities are beyond normal man's comprehension. The natural man cannot (notice that it does not say “will not” or “chooses not to”) understand the things of the Spirit, according to the Bible. Because the natural man cannot comprehend the things of the Spirit, we must have the Holy Spirit to comprehend what God has freely given to us. According to Matthew 13:10-11, “The disciples approached Him and said, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” ‘Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but it has not been given to them,' he said. God is implying that we can comprehend His purpose and plan through His Son. He also claims that it is given to the Kingdom's sons to understand what the Kingdom is all about in order to be more effective.
According to Proverbs 4:7, “The most important thing is wisdom; therefore, obtain wisdom. And obtain knowledge in all your getting.” We must comprehend why we comprehend the things of God's Spirit. Because God has spoken it into our hearts, we are believers and have understanding; so, our nature is one of understanding. It comprehends the Lord's Truth. The Holy Spirit in us grasps God's Truth. Many of us are more concerned with comprehending things than with comprehending the One who provides us with those things. In Matthew 6, God instructs us simply not to desire things. He declares, “But seek first God's kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). As long as we seek God first, He will always provide us with what we need.
