The more Durood Sharif we recite, the more profit and gain we shall acquire in both worlds. “Those who claim to adore and admire the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) should enhance their recital of the Durood Shareef in patience and perseverance until, by the Prophet's kindness, they have the opportunity to view his blessed countenance,” says Shaikh-e-Akbar Mo'inuddin ibn Arabi.
The unique feature of this prayer is that Durood Shareef is accepted by Allah Ta'ala right away. No one can deny its legitimacy because Allah Ta'ala also recites Durood Shareef. Furthermore, He revealed this secret in the Holy Quran by declaring, “Wara fa'na laka zikrah” (Have I not exalted thy name).
