Yes, absolutely. They, like spirit guides, are vitally necessary for surviving this Earthschool existence. And we have several of them they are ours “The core team,” the souls with whom we incarnate life after life and who cycle in and out of our lives with varying degrees of importance, depending on the life lessons each one wishes to acquire.
True, some soulmates meet as children and remain companions throughout their lives. Finding your soulmate, on the other hand, can happen later in life. Some people come into our lives to instruct or motivate us, and then they leave; we never see them again. Some people come into our lives for a single quick, meaningful encounter (the stranger who pushes us out of the way of an oncoming car; the homeless person with whom we share a lunch) and change our lives forever.
A huge blunder, and one that the majority of individuals commit. You're considering a Twin Flame. A Soulmate is a Twin Flame, but they don't necessarily arrive at the same moment as you. When you have crucial life lessons to learn that require a lot of focus, your Twin Flame may incarnate somewhere else (or not at all, staying on the Astral) so that you can finish your task. You can also marry a Soulmate who isn't a Twin Flame and have a happy and fruitful life together. (After all, why are there so many divorces if we are only supposed to marry our Soulmates?)
Let's have a look at two different spreads: One inquires about locating one's Soulmate. The following one examines someone you've already met to see if they're a member of your Core Team.

WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT LIFE? The following two cards are read “together,” to make a short story, and it does rely on the reader's skill to tell a story using the two-card energies. Because you have two Sword cards in this deck, it was most likely a difficult circumstance. The 4 Swords card can represent imprisonment, a forced period of contemplation, and possibly the need for healing. I'm not going to tell John which was which; this isn't about that “Rather than pointing fingers, consider the overall energies of the circumstance and what Karmic rebalancing may be required.
WHAT IS THEIR OVERALL PURPOSE? We're looking at the suits right now. Wands represent friendship, hearts represent lovers, pentacles represent coworkers, and swords represent enemies “Someone who rubs you the wrong way, whether as a “spur,” an adversary, or someone whose chemistry rubs you the wrong way. (Yes, soul mates can be rivals if that's what's required for progress.) As a result, I may have to inform John “Finding your soulmate may not be a pleasant encounter, but it will be beneficial.”
What if the hearts card appears, but there's no likelihood of genuine romantic passion a same-gender soulmate for the straight, or a different gender soulmate for the same-gender bent? This could be interpreted as a “bromance,” “sisters from different moms,” or “sisters from different fathers.” “The ideal best friend.”
HOW ARE THEY GOING TO MEET? The card is given a normal interpretation in this case. The Knight of Cups speaks of emotion and creativity, as well as the road of compassion and heart. Look for a scenario in which John is attracted into something new, possibly something that helps humanity, such as working on a Habitat for Humanity house.
