It's worth taking a few moments to describe what spiritual energy is in order to understand how to protect it.

In its most basic form, an energetic body woven throughout and around your physical body is made up of such higher levels of energy that we can't perceive it.

The aura is the energy field that surrounds your body and is made up of seven layers that pulsate outwards from your body.

Imagine being inside an egg, and you'll have a good starting point.

Your aura is linked to the body's seven energy centers (or chakras), which are linked to a large network of energy channels known as meridians and nadis that flow throughout your body.

Imagine a road map with motorways, dual carriageways, and B-roads, and you'll have a good idea of what you're talking about.

Here are some of our favorite tools and strategies that we've been using for years to help you protect your spiritual energy while also cleansing and re-energizing it.

There is no need to read them in any particular order; simply go through them and attempt the ones that connect and feel appropriate for you:

Power words

In a circumstance where you want to protect yourself energetically, emotionally, or psychologically, power words are amazingly simple and effective weapons to use. All of these dimensions of existence are intricately linked. A power word, as the name implies, is a word with a lot of significance and symbolism. It is imbued with a very distinct vitality.

Love, ohm, and peace are all powerful words, but there are many more.

Frequently, your power word is the polar opposite of what is occurring.

HTML tutorial

If someone irritates you, use the word calm as your power word. Focus on the word invincible if you're feeling exhausted, and on the word bright if you're feeling dark.

Simply keep whatever power word comes to mind at the time in the forefront of your mind.

Allow the vibrational frequency of the word to ripple out through every cell and fibre of your being and out into your aura.

Consider how the term affects your mind, body, heart, soul, and spiritual energy systems. If it helps you focus, you can repeat the word silently over and over. It's incredibly quick, and it can quickly replenish and focus your spiritual energy, thoughts, and emotions.

Breathe in your power

There are many occasions in life that might make us feel overwhelmed, agitated, and reactive. These triggers can deplete your vitality and disrupt your peace as well as all of your emotions. Every emotion we experience is represented in our aura. Anger depletes and weakens our aura, whilst love and happiness increase it. This easy breathing technique is beneficial to know since it can instantly restore equilibrium to the mind, body, spirit, and spiritual energy.

Close your mouth and breathe slowly and deeply through your nose.

Allow your focus to flow in and out of your body with your breath.

Keep an eye on your chest as it rises and falls.

Allow your shoulders to drop and your jaw to relax while concentrating on your breathing. Even five slow, deliberate breaths in and out are beneficial!

HTML tutorial

Breath work alone has been demonstrated to have an instant and profound effect on every component of your body and mind, as well as your soul and energy systems, according to research. However, by adding a creative visualization to it, you can make it even more potent. Imagine a ray of light beaming down from the heavens onto your head (or whatever higher power you believe in). Imagine that when you inhale, you are bringing in this cosmic light to cleanse and invigorate you, and that as you exhale, you are releasing any unwanted energy, stress, or negativity you may be harboring. Even a few minutes of breath training can be life-changing. Just keep in mind that the more you practice, the easier and more intuitive these exercises become.

Seal off your spiritual energy field

This exercise allows you to seal off your aura and protect yourself from anyone, anything, or any scenario. Simply see yourself standing inside a massive bubble that is clear, flexible, and impenetrable. The bubble engulfs you, forming a formidable protection that follows you everywhere.

You can amp up this visualization by imagining that the bubble's top is connected to the universe, allowing a flow of wonderful, cosmic energy to enter your sacred area. You can use gold for a cosmic link, pink for love, blue for healing, or red for energy to change the color of your bubble. In fact, you are free to use whichever components excite you. Perhaps you have a living or deceased relative you'd want to envision standing with you in your bubble, empowering and strengthening you. You are welcome to bring your four-legged companions!

A mirror is another wonderful image that is frequently used.

Imagine a giant mirror appearing in front of you if you ever wish to keep other people's energy from contacting your spiritual being.

All of the energy that is directed at you is reflected back to the source through the mirror.

Creative visualizations have a lot of power, so don't underestimate them. According to studies, envisioning something in your mind's eye is just as powerful as actually doing it!

A cloak of protection

When taking public transportation, visiting crowded offices, or being around vexatious people, it's useful to be able to guard your aura. Simply imagine yourself wearing a full-length sweeping cloak composed of the deepest hue of blue imaginable, such as the midnight blue of the night sky. This cloak comes with a hood that you can imagine raising up to protect your head (crown chakra). The cloak's lining may be magical – pink, silver, golden, or multicolored, for example. It can be decked out with magical symbols both inside and out. Pull on your cloak whenever you feel the need to protect yourself and your energy from outside influences – this powerful visualisation harnesses your creative forces and establishes a clear energetic aim.

Nature's cure

Modern life has distanced us from our primal connection to nature, but it is in the natural world that we belong. It's why a windswept walk or a stomp in the woods makes us feel energised.

HTML tutorial

Spending time in nature has incalculable advantages.

It not only exposes us to a diverse range of microbiomes, but it also allows our spiritual bodies to re-calibrate and literally relieves stress. So, if you have the opportunity, go for a walk by the sea, a stroll through a park, or a stomp through the woods – and while you're there, give a conscious consideration to the restorative energy exchanges that are taking place and the gift of nature's beauty.

Grounding yourself is another approach to revitalize and strengthen your aura and chakras.

If you spend a lot of time working, thinking, and being in your thoughts, this is a terrific exercise for you! Remove your shoes and place your feet flat on the ground, ideally outside (avoiding unnatural surfaces if possible). Allow the energy of the earth to link with your body's energy system by feeling your feet connected to the ground. If you are unable to go outside or remove your shoes, envisioning this technique can be used instead.

Imagine the soles of your feet growing roots that delve deep into the dirt to offer another powerful depth to this grounding technique.

You anchor down and literally ground yourself through these roots.

Visualize an energy exchange in which your energy (both positive and negative) flows out of you into the earth, and Mother Earth's energy flows up via your roots and feet into your body, circulating around your entire energy systems and purifying, energizing, and renewing you.

You might want to thank Mother Earth for her healing with a prayer.

Being in nature and grounding with her energy helps to combat the effects of aging and inflammation while also purifying and energizing the mind, body, and spirit. You will feel stronger and more grounded, which will strengthen your auric shield.

Cleansing

Your aura is continuously interacting with the world around you, which results in energy exchanges, not all of which are positive and uplifting. Knowing how to cleanse your aura ensures that it is lively and energetically strong enough to shield you. Salt baths are a great method to do this, and they allow you to devote thirty or forty minutes to spiritual self-care. This bath will just require Epsom Salt (which is not the same as table salt and has numerous health benefits!). Here are some suggestions to assist you:

  • Fill a standard bath with Epsom salt (2-3 large handfuls). If you know lavender essential oil works for you, you can use it.
  • Set the intention that while you're showering, you'll let go of all the negativity you're holding and carrying.
  • Invoke the support of the cosmos and/or your spirit guides to assist you in purifying and realizing your spiritual vibration.

This bathing ritual (once a month is about right) is a beautiful way to not only take care of your aura but also to enjoy some quiet introspection. These are frequently the occasions when realizations and insights emerge and are recognized.

Heavenly Protection

Many of us believe in angles, and this practice is a lovely opportunity to interact with them for yourself! One of the seven Archangels is Archangel Michael. He is known as the Prince of the Archangels and is a ferocious and mighty fighter. He embodies the virtues of bravery, strength, and protection. You can invoke or call on him simply by saying “Archangel Michael, guard me now.”

You might simply beg for his assistance, or you can visualize him approaching you and standing to your right, sword and shield drawn, ready to guard and protect you. You can imagine him wrapping his deep blue cloak around you, or his wings wrapping themselves around you to protect and defend you. If you're depressed or emotionally vulnerable, this is really great to do. Imagine being snatched up and held in the arms of heaven's most powerful Archangel, who will guard you and love you unconditionally.

Love

Quantum physics, neuroscience, biophysics, and epigenetics research are all exposing new and amazing possibilities in the realms of science, spirituality, and humanity. What is becoming clear is that we have the ability to shape and construct our own world. Meditation and mindfulness are two disciplines that can help you tap into this potential for yourself. These and other spiritual paths (such as gratitude practice) have the power to change your life right down to your hard wiring and genetic makeup.

If you are new to meditation or mindfulness, there are many apps and videos available to assist you get started – you will discover that while they serve to ground and center you, they will also enable you to begin that lovely communication within.

We begin to extend our awareness when we begin to communicate with our higher self (intuition or soul). We grow in mind, body, and spirit, and the more we explore beneath the surface of physical illusion, the more we realize how much more there is to learn and discover. It's only natural for your soul and spiritual energy systems to reflect this spiritual awakening in terms of vibrancy and health.

It's crucial to remember that life contains both ying and yang, negative and good, light and dark aspects.

There is and always will be a mix of both aspects; it's just the way things are, and you can't change it.

The most important thing is to be conscious of who, what, and where raises, lights, and energises you – and who, what, and where does the exact opposite.

How can I control my spiritual power?

Spiritual wellbeing can be reached in a variety of ways, both physically and intellectually, because it involves one's values, beliefs, and purpose.

How do you control energy with your mind?

Your mind relaxes when you can take deep breaths and feel fully centered. You allow “prana” (cosmic energy) to enter and rejuvenate your system by taking complete breaths. The breath is the beginning of life. Start with deep breathing whenever you need to refuel your batteries. Breathe from your diagram to practice belly breathing.

How do you shift your energy?

I've discovered five key ways to alter my energy, which I'll outline here. There are only suggestions, not prescriptions, as always. Take what works for you, leave the rest, and alter and adjust to your specific needs and tastes. If necessary, repeat a practice or try a few new things. Your role is to simply note what feels supportive and helpful as you construct and participate in these rituals.

  • Make use of your senses. Provide oneself with a soothing or energizing sensory experience. Take a walk or drive, listen to music, eat something wonderful, take a bath, talk to your plants, and pet your pets, to name a few suggestions. The trick is to be present and enable your senses to be fully engaged.
  • Pay attention to your breathing and body. The breath can serve as a grounding anchor for us in the present moment, and it is constantly there. Spend a few minutes deliberately observing and recording your breath. You might also move your body to change your energy – here are 30 movement suggestions to get you started!
  • Change your surroundings. Either move to a different location or make a change in your surroundings. This could imply leaving the area or perhaps the house. This could include things like changing the lighting, rearranging the furniture, or making your bed.
  • Release your emotions in a symbolic way. You can express your emotions by writing them down, crumpling them up, and burning or shredding the paper. You may either scream into a pillow or up into the sky. Find a means to let go of the emotional weight metaphorically or spiritually.
  • Seek out accountability or a sense of belonging. Enlist the help of a friend or loved one to help you change things up. This could entail inviting them to participate in the ritual or simply texting them before and after you've completed the rites you wish to do. We don't have to undertake difficult things by ourselves; in reality, we really do need one other.

How do I get in touch with my spiritual side?

Spirituality is extremely personal and unique to everyone of us. Make an effort to connect with your spiritual side.

  • Attending religious services or meditating on a regular basis are examples of active practice.

What are the 3 elements of spirituality?

In their eternal wisdom, all shamans, healers, sages, and wisdom keepers of all centuries, continents, and peoples claim that human spirituality is made up of three aspects: connections, values, and life purpose. These three components are so strongly linked that it may be difficult to tell them apart. Take a minute to ponder on each facet of human spirituality to determine the state of your spiritual well-being if this is possible. This will be a three-part monthly series, starting with relationships.

Internal (your domestic policy)—how you deal with yourself, how you nurture the relationship with yourself and your higher self—and external (your foreign policy)—how you relate, support, and interact with those people (and all living entities) in your environment—are the two categories of relationships.

What criteria would you use to assess your internal relationship, and what steps could you take to improve it?

How would you assess your external relationships, shifting from the perspective of domestic policy to foreign policy?

How do I master my own energy?

1)Mind your energySimply put, do what feels good and let go of what doesn't… trust your instincts and allow your heart lead you. Allow yourself to be nurtured by letting go of drama and negativity. Follow your own definition of happiness. It also doesn't imply burying your head in the sand, but rather acting from a place of strength rather than weakness.

2)Be aware of your thoughts. What are you concentrating on?

You can keep your energy elevated by thinking about all the things you value in your life (counting your blessings). Focus on what you DO want, not what you don't want, is the simplest way to put it. Maintain vigilance.

3)Become conscious of your boundaries and call in your energy by minding your business. While it is admirable to aid others, it is also beneficial to understand who drains our energy and who uplifts us. Don't be concerned about what other people think. “It's up to you.”

4)Mind your Mind In a rough environment, living with intention and mindfulness can enable us to be more steady.

Spend at least 10 minutes each day sitting and connecting with your inner self.

5)Mind your MealtimeInstead of rushing through the day on autopilot, continue living with the purpose of bringing Mindfulness to your meals.

Take a deep breath and stop before taking the first bite.

(This is known as the Divine Dining Method.)

6) Mind your Motivation (Mojo)As you learn to follow your energy, you'll notice that there's a distinction between fearful and loving actions.

When you take action, put all of your energy into it and do it with all of your heart! That is what the word “abundance” really means.

7) Be aware of what your connections are reflecting back to you.

If you're dealing with someone who irritates you, use this technique: Find ONE thing you like about them and focus on that. (Try it, it's effective!) Send out LOVE to everyone and see what you get in return!

There's so much more to life than merely going through the motions, and once you master your energy, you can start crafting the life of your dreams!

What are the symptoms of negative energy in a body?

To perceive the small changes in vibrations in and around us, you don't have to be a monk. You can quickly recognize and learn the indicators that you are surrounded by bad energy and need to get rid of it if you pay close attention. Here are a few examples:

1. You're restless and fidgety.

2. You can't get a good night's sleep.

5. You have a proclivity for absorbing the negative opinions of others.

6. You are prone to making rash decisions.

7. When you meet certain people, you become angry and your energy levels drop.

Your thoughts, statements, interactions with others, and even the spaces of your house and office where you spend a lot of time are all significant concentrations of your energy. If you see any of the above indicators of negative energy in or around you, there are a few things you may do to get rid of it:

How can I make my own energy?

How to Make Electricity at Home

  • Solar Panels for the Home Every beam of sunlight that lands on your roof provides you with free electricity.

How do you change negative energy to positive?

It didn't hit me until I was getting to know my partner Leo and he stated, “It feels so fantastic to be around a positive person all the time.” My attempts had become routine.

Habitual negative thought patterns wear such a route in your brain over time, thanks to the process of neuroplasticity, that they become tangible neural features. According to scientists, our brains are continually striving to form routines in order to save time and effort.

A habit, on the other hand, cannot be eliminated; it can only be changed. You must return to the beginning of the stimulus/response cycle and substitute an alternative reaction for the current one.

How many times have you made a list of all the great steps you intend to do and then failed to follow through? This is due to the fact that the longer you think about something, the less likely you are to execute it. Negative ideas will convince you otherwise.

Negative thinking should not become a habit. Here are some suggestions for getting your mind and brain to cooperate. Your actions will also encourage more optimistic thinking!

Start a Journal

Recognize unpleasant ideas rather than trying to push them away. You want them to be resolved, not buried like seeds, waiting to resurface. Every day, I keep track of every negative and positive thought I have, as well as where it occurred, why it occurred, and who it occurred with. It assists me in identifying triggers and reversing bad thinking in the future.

Always Ask Yourself, “What Would I Say to a Friend?”

It's simpler to be kind to others than it is to ourselves. A simple exercise has been developed to help children reframing cognitive distortions and teach them to recognize them “BLUE” thoughts – blaming myself; looking for bad news; making unsatisfactory guesses; and being overly pessimistic.

Adults can use it as well. Turn those around “By thinking that your friend suffers this difficulty, you can turn your “BLUE” thoughts into actual ones. You'd almost certainly reassure them. What advice would you provide to someone in this situation?

Change Negativity to Neutrality

Negativity is a lot simpler to turn down than it is to turn off. “Is this idea assisting or hindering me in my quest to become my greatest self?” ask yourself. If it's getting in the way, use more compassionate language. “This is impossible,” for example, may be replaced with “Let's try a new method.” Surprisingly, your brain will come up with answers to your queries when you do this.

Create an SOS File of Positive Praise

When I'm feeling nervous, I keep a file of positive emails and remarks from clients and friends. It's a lifesaver on occasion. I'm usually astonished at how quickly I get back on my feet.

Breathe

“When life feels out of focus,” Mr Miyagi says, “always return to the basics of life.” Breathing. “Without breath, there is no life.” Every day, I practice the NAVY Seals' 4-7-8 breathing technique. It can be done at any time during the day for maintenance or as an SOS. It will instantly bring you into a calmer mood, allowing you to think more clearly.

Talk to Somebody

Whether it's a therapist, a close friend, or a coworker who knows what you're going through. As long as it's someone who is encouraging and can point out the advantages while putting any bad ideas into context.

Follow a Healthy Lifestyle

Every day, I perform three 10-minute workouts. Exercise has a good effect on one's mood and helps to relieve stress. I'm also grateful for Colin, my dog, who gets me outside. Concentration and memory are improved when the brain receives more oxygen. Exercise can also help you feel happier and more calm by lowering blood pressure and releasing chemicals in the brain.

Identify Areas to Change

Which aspects of your life do you find yourself thinking negatively about the most? It it be work, a relationship, or your free time. Begin by concentrating on one tiny area and thinking about how you can approach it in a more positive manner.

Surround Yourself With Positive People

Negative people will almost certainly increase your stress levels, make you doubt your talents, and make it more difficult to control negative thoughts in a healthy way. Instead, look for helpful people who can provide you with sound guidance and comments.

Practice Self-Compassion

It took me years to get started, but it's never too late to start. The Kindness Cure, a 2017 book by Tara Cousineau, argues that self-criticism only serves to keep you stuck. However, she claims that replacing disapproval and self-judgment with self-compassion allows you to accept your flaws in a gentle way, thereby improving your mental health.

Practice Positive Self-Talk Out Loud

Instead of “I,” say your name. According to University of Michigan psychologist Ethan Kross, creating emotional distance in our self-talk can help us calm down, see things more clearly, and think more sensibly.
