How do I become a spiritual book?
My spiritual path began when I came upon the book Conversations With God Book 1 by chance.
Since then, I've held spirituality literature in high respect; as Francis Bacon so well put it, “Some books should be sampled, some eaten, but only a few should be chewed and digested properly.”
You should devour these ten spirituality books and take your time to properly understand and internalize the contents. They are suitable for both spiritual beginners and those who have progressed farther in their spiritual development.
Sit in the light of pain and loss.
You must claim and sit in the sorrow and loss before you can repair your soul. It's completely acceptable to acknowledge the pain you've felt, cry over your unhappiness, and sit in your sorrow.
If you don't aware you're in the dark, you'll never notice that light exists. The goal is to become conscious of this location rather than to dwell here and heal.
Remind yourself that darkness and light are part of the same universe.
You aren't in another universe totally. For the time being, you're simply in the shadows. The light is now on the other side of the room. You'll find a way to get there. The first step toward seeing the light is to be conscious of the darkness.
What are the 3 elements of spirituality?
In their eternal wisdom, all shamans, healers, sages, and wisdom keepers of all centuries, continents, and peoples claim that human spirituality is made up of three aspects: connections, values, and life purpose. These three components are so strongly linked that it may be difficult to tell them apart. Take a minute to ponder on each facet of human spirituality to determine the state of your spiritual well-being if this is possible. This will be a three-part monthly series, starting with relationships.
Internal (your domestic policy)how you deal with yourself, how you nurture the relationship with yourself and your higher selfand external (your foreign policy)how you relate, support, and interact with those people (and all living entities) in your environmentare the two categories of relationships.
What criteria would you use to assess your internal relationship, and what steps could you take to improve it?
How would you assess your external relationships, shifting from the perspective of domestic policy to international policy?
How can I be awakened spiritually?
The spiritual journeyand the resulting “spiritual awakening” we seekalways appears to take place in some exotic location or following a spectacular incident.
Perhaps you believe you need to travel to Peru to drink ayahuasca or leave your spouse to get the spiritual awakening you seek?
From the comfort of your own home, you may connect with your spirituality and awaken to the lessons that are meant for you over and over again throughout your life.
What is a spiritual person like?
Being spiritual entails prioritizing self- and other-love as a top priority. Spiritual individuals are concerned about people, animals, and the environment. A spiritual person recognizes that we are all One and makes conscious efforts to honor that unity. A spiritual person is kind.
What do spiritual people read?
Spiritual reading is the activity of reading spiritual books and articles in order to grow in holiness.
Spiritual reading includes saints' biographies, publications by Church Doctors and Fathers, theological works published by holy individuals, and doctrinal writings by Church authorities. It's not to be confused with lectio divina, which concentrates on the Bible.
According to St. Alphonsus Liguori, Doctor of the Catholic Church on Moral Theology, the biblical basis is St. Paul's instruction to Timothy his student to “apply to the study of holy books, not in a passing fashion and for a short time, but regularly and for a long time.” “Spiritual reading and prayer are the arms by which hell is vanquished and paradise attained,” declared St. Bernard of Clairvaux.
