Dorthy's heart melts when Jerry says the words. The lights go up, the credits roll, and we're back in the real world, convinced that we'll never be full, happy, or entire until we discover our soulmate:

We'll never be satisfied with anything else. Since the dawn of time, the ONE has been made for us.

It's a lovely idea we first discover as children in fairy tale stories about characters like Sleeping Beauty and Prince Charming “And They Lived Happily Ever After.” However, a brief study of the Bible reveals that there is no such thing “And They Lived Happily Ever After.”

The belief that God created a soulmate or ideal fit for each person and that you can never be happy without them is not scriptural. God does not own anything “From the dawn of time, you've been searching for “the one” as your ideal partner.

The issue with this way of thinking is that it leads us to believe that we will not be complete until we discover our soulmate. This leads us to assume that we are half-humans who must wander the globe in quest of our ideal mate in order to unite.

God did not create us as half-people. God created us entire. God informs us in 1st Thessalonians 5:23-24 that we were made holy, entire, and put together.

“May God, who creates everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, putting you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keeping you healthy for our Master's return. The person who called you is entirely trustworthy. He'll do it if he says so!” (From The Message)

How do you know when God puts someone in your life?

This is the scripture that my friend shared with me many years ago over coffee. It had such an impact on me because it made me realize how much God knows and loves me on a personal level.

He is concerned about and interested in our daily life. He has meticulously arranged our life and is aware of every detail. This indicates that the individuals we meet and come into contact with are destined to be a part of our lives for a specific reason. It's not a fluke or a coincidence.

Is soulmate real?

Soulmates are real and can be confirmed by science, according to the very out-there website The Science of Soulmates. However, after reading through the lengthy, wordy site, you'll discover that the “scientifically verified” hypotheses stated on the site to illustrate that soulmates are real are quite woo-woo.

TL;DR: Soulmates appear to be one manifestation of the energy patterns that run through everything in the universe. “Scientific instruments recorded proof of a fundamental energy pattern that exposes the source of existence and the phenomena of soulmates,” according to the website.

Despite the fact that this “proof” is muddled and difficult to understand, it appears that some people believe that soulmates can be discovered by researching energy patterns. I'm open to this idea — I was raised in an unconventional household and am open to many transcendental concepts — but I'm not certain that this website actually provides any concrete proof that soulmates exist, at least according to science. As a result, it's back to the drawing board.

How do I know if God is asking me to do something?

God was preparing me, though I didn't realize it at the time, for a massive outpouring of His love. And if He hadn't gained my attention first, I wouldn't have known how to respond.

Don't dismiss God's sign when repeated messages attract your attention. Dig in, learn as much as you can, and absorb everything you can. If you don't, you might miss out on whatever He's trying to give you. Even if it doesn't happen right away.

Your buddies are another evident indicator that God is attempting to attract your attention.

Don't dismiss what a few excellent people are saying you just because it's not what you want to hear just because it's not what you want to hear. Yes, the truth is difficult to accept. However, it is always preferable to see something than to be blind. It's also possible that it'll be a

How do you know God is preparing you for a breakthrough?

So, here are three clues that God is preparing you for a great breakthrough that is just around the corner.

1. If God is removing harmful people, places, and things from your life, it could be a sign that a breakthrough is on the way.

God does not construct on sloping ground. God does not strive to cultivate seeds in unsuitable soil. And God will wash you of all sin before bringing you into his presence. My argument is that before God can execute a magnificent work in your life, you must first go through a season of preparation.

Before God blesses you with a breakthrough, he may first remove the people, places, and things in your life that are causing heart damage. If God blessed us before preparing us, we may overlook the blessing of misusing it after we have it. Take a look at what Jesus said in John 15:1–5. It reads:

My Father is the vinedresser, and I am the genuine vine.

He prunes every branch that bears fruit in me that does not bear fruit, and he prunes every branch that does bear fruit so that it bears more fruit… I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him bears abundant fruit, since you can do nothing without me.”

In John 15:2, you'll notice something interesting. Even if you are bearing fruit for God, Jesus indicated that by pruning you, he will cause you to bear even more fruit for him. This is an excellent illustration of how God frequently requires us to go through a painful season of preparation before he can create even more fruit in our lives. Pruning is the process of removing superfluous material from your life so that more can be produced.

This pruning process can be very difficult and painful if God is removing the people, places, and things in your life that are impeding your growth. Just remember that this is all part of the process leading up to your breakthrough.

How many Soulmates do we have?

You can have multiple soulmates. “You only have one twin flame,” says the narrator. According to the belief, if you meet someone with whom you have a strong connection, there's a good chance they're a member of your larger soul family.
