How can I trick my body into losing weight?
1. Turn down the lights.

People who ate a lunch in soft, warm lighting consumed 175 fewer calories than those who ate in brilliantly lit environments, according to researchers. Participants in the study who dined under mood lighting ate 18 percent less food and evaluated their food as “more pleasurable” than those who dined under harsh lights. Scientists believe this is due to the harsh fluorescent lights seen at fast food places, which may produce a psychological drive to speed through meals and consume morelight a candle or two at dinnertime, and you may be less stimulated to eat more.

Pleasure
Because it has a direct link to stress reduction, this is another essential component in the psychology of weight loss. And, as previously said, lowering stress is critical to developing an internal environment that encourages weight loss.
Pleasure is essentially a shortcut for changing our bodies from sympathetic nervous system activation (fight or flight response) to parasympathetic nervous system activation (rest and digest) (relaxation response). When we gain access to the things that propel us forward in life, “We are activating our supportive biological systems by saying “aaahhhh” in a relaxed and contented manner. We engage the cephalic phase digestive response, which is the very beginning of our digestive process, when we take a moment to savour the aroma of our meal. Our digestive enzymes and digestive tract are alerted by the cephalic phase response that food is on its way: “Prepare yourself for digestion and assimilation.”
We engage positive physiologic responses such as the production of endorphins which help us feel happy when we soften into the touch of a supportive friend or enjoy a moment to converse or walk in nature.
Pleasure transports us to the moment when we are enjoying our food. We are much more likely to make food choices that promote our health and listen to the cues that tell us when we've had enough when we are fully in the present of eating and checking in to our bodies.
Behavior
The majority of weight loss advice focuses on modifying our habits. “Drink more water, eat more greens, cook at home, avoid eating out, and cut down on processed foods, among other things.” These are the kind of activities that alter what is consumed. While it's true that behaviors are important in developing good habits, our values, feelings, and beliefs are also important. Our psychology is the bedrock of our actions.
It's doubtful that our good action will become a habit if we don't believe we can have a beneficial impact on our health.
We are less inclined to take action that supports and champions our health and well-being if we don't believe we deserve to be happy.
We can be given a list of 100 or even 1000 weight-loss ideas, but we're unlikely to follow through with our well-intentioned health advice until our sentiments and beliefs (psychology) are in sync with our desire to feel our best. We believe it is a matter of willpower, but it is not. The psychology of weight reduction is predicated on the idea that losing weight is about more than just reducing weight “Eat this and stay away from that.” When it comes to losing weight in a healthy method that lasts, we are complex people in a full-throttle world who require caring help on the deeper levels of our feelings, thoughts, and beliefs.
Is manifesting a sin?
