Negative or good thoughts are welcome. “The highest and best” was prefaced by a coworker of mine, as if you may unintentionally ask for the “lowest and worse.” That always made me laugh. It is crucial to remember that things don't get any worse than they already are, you just may not be perceiving them as they are.

With patience and a sense of grace, we human beings strive to live in a state of perpetual preparation. This means making the most of what we have as we await what we desire. To help you get started, here are a few tips.

Start where you are.

As previously stated, while it may appear like things deteriorate before improving, you just weren't seeing how awful things were. The first step to creating what you desire is to be honest with yourself.

In other words, if you desire money, use it wisely. Are your objectives in line with your resources? Are you spending within your means? Do you treat your money with the utmost care? Is your desire for money based on the belief that you lack something else? A little self-reflection will go a long way toward helping you understand what you're trying to find.

You can't get what you want, if you don't know what you want.

The more you study your motivation, the more you'll be able to figure out why you're where you are and how to fix it. Imagination and a willingness to think beyond the box are required for this step.

Identify your top five desires first. Now, imagine five persons you know or have never met with these characteristics. Make a list of persons you know or are familiar with who have the amount of money you'd like to acquire and focus on those people to help you achieve your financial goals. Learn as much as you can about their habits before moving further.

Let the universe take care of the logistics of obtaining it. Keep in mind that in the logical flow of things, anything is possible.

Manage what you have and you'll get more.

Process-oriented people are better at teaching others or describing how they got something since they focus on the process rather than the end result. If that isn't your objective, focus on effectively managing what you already have.

If you desire more love in your life, focus on receiving the love you already have and on being a loving person to others around you. ‘ Make sure you pay all of your bills on time, put money away for the future, and only spend money on things you really want or need…no unnecessary purchases. Your efforts will be amplified since the Universe is aligned with them.

The Universe responds to actions first, then thoughts.

The final destination of the manifestation train is the physical world. Idea realization, breakdown, and rebirth all take place here. An idea can only become manifested if it is in harmony with other aspects of your physical life, since the physical world moves more slowly than any other creative level.

“I like to be alone, thank you” is how the Universe interprets your constant need for love and isolation if all you do is separate yourself and criticise others. As a result, you'll find yourself surrounded by people who are self-centered, judgmental, or cautious, all of whom you don't want to be around.

Your thoughts create your actions.

For social media-savvy self-help gurus and spiritual teachers, the mainstreaming of New Age and pagan beliefs has been a windfall for those who seek assistance on manifesting, crystals, reiki, and other alternatives to orthodox psychotherapy. A few hundred dollars isn't out of the question for some people, but others are willing to shell out thousands for a one-on-one session with a life coach to help them find their inner peace.

Although she goes by the more precise moniker of a “coach,” Taylor Simpson is one of those people. As of this writing, she has over 100,000 Instagram followers under the handle “Priestess of Light.” Around 1,800 people have enrolled in Simpson's “divine feminine mystic manifestation” courses and “masterclasses” to learn how to attract money, love, and pleasure into their lives.

I asked her to explain a few esoteric spiritual concepts I found on her Instagram and website, and they're all there for the taking. This person, she continues, “is so fiercely aligned with their truth that they came here to be able to help,” and they are lightworkers. Using The Matrix's premise of the red and blue tablets, there are hints to transitioning from “3D to 5D.” A polarity exists in the 3D world. As she put it, “It's either this or that, right or wrong, up or down, awful or good.” “4D is the place where people come to their senses. We enter 5D, a place of pure love. Is there a right or a wrong answer? “It's neutrality,”

When you're “awake,” you're aware of your surroundings; when you're asleep, you're not. Those who are asleep are “doing the nine to five, the white picket fence.” It's as though their circumstances have a say in who they are. In every situation, they are the victim. It's not their fault,” he says. There's a lot of discussion about frequencies (lower frequencies are made of guilt and shame, higher ones of love and peace).

Her clients typically come to her with a more practical goal in mind, such as attracting money or a soulmate. At least superficially, Simpson's technique is comparable to therapy: She tries to figure out why her customers desire what they want and why they believe they aren't deserving of receiving it. It is apparent that Simpson believes her customers will be able to materialize anything they desire if they are fully aligned with themselves.

A woman's neediness for love causes men to avoid her, while a woman's cool demeanor attracts her ex-boyfriends back. She explained this to me using the “crazy ex-girlfriend” stereotype. The parallel makes sense on some level, but I wondered if the same analogy might be applied for, say, someone who truly desires a high-end car but has no capacity for feeling and is unimpressed by psychological trickery.

The frequency in which the car is operating is what you're in, she explains. However, even if this car doesn't have feelings, your future self who has done the inner work to get there already has it. Your future self will eventually be in the position to meet your current self in that car if you embody the version of yourself that owns that car.”

No, manifesting doesn't actually work

Of course, believing this is perfectly fine. There are, however, some limitations. Psychiatrists are concerned that beliefs like manifesting don't take into consideration persons with anxiety, depression, or other mental health conditions, who may have negative thoughts.

Cognitive neuroscientist Rhiannon Jones told Vice that overestimating the power of one's thoughts, a symptom of OCD and many other mental illnesses, “could be very dangerous to people who already have anxiety disorders, but potentially, it might even be enough to start those symptoms happening in someone who originally doesn't,” she said. Depression sufferers, for example, may conclude that because they believe no one actually cares about them, this belief must be true.

The reality that positive thinking alone will not affect your material circumstances and may even do the reverse is a fact that even if manifesting does not present a major mental health concern. Negative thinking, on the other hand, can actually make us more complacent and less likely to put in the effort required to attain our goals, according to decades of scientific research.

How do you do the 369 method?

Three times in the morning, six times during the day, and nine times at night is how the 369 technique works.

Over 165 million views have been amassed by videos with the hashtag “369method” on TikTok (naturally). App users who have used the technique to manifest new relationships, big sums of money, and more can be found easily.
